Q: What's the difference between a Double room and a Twin room?
A: A double room has one double bed. A twin room has two single beds, both accommodate 2 persons. If your room type is Double/Twin it means that the room can be set up for either type. Please specify your preference in the "Remarks" box. The hotel will do their utmost to accommodate your request.
Q: What types of credit card can I use to complete the reservation?
A: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club can be used normally in every hotels. OTC advisor would only reserve the room for you and you can pay in your own way by cash or credit card directly to hotel cashier. Before making your reservation, you can check at the bottom of the hotel policies section or double reconfirm with your travel advisor.
Q: How can I ensure that my online booking has been received and confirmed?
A: You will have a booking reference number online after you submit the booking request successfully. An official confirmation voucher will be e-mailed to you after your booking is being confirmed.
Q: Does the hotel need a deposit or a payment in advance?
A: In most cases you can pay the hotel expense during your stay. To see whether there are any special conditions, such as deposit or pre-payments: please check the hotel page, including the "Guarantee needed" link ahead of the "Hotel Introduce". When there were big Commerce Fair or Exhibition held in your destination city in the annually dates, hote room reservation may need your credit card guarantee or prepayment.

Q: How can I work out a tour itinerary?
A: You can choose the pre-made tour itinerary from our website and send your special requirement to us. We will have our travel advisor help you with the further discussion to customize the tour you chosen.
You can also have your own itinerary but need to consult our advisor to see whether it is feasible.
Q: Do you offer any discounts if we have many people in our group?
A: Yes, our quotation is based on the size of the group, which can be divided into four categories as: 1 person, 2-5 persons, 6-9 persons, 10 or over 10 persons, the more people in your group, the more discounts can you have.
Q: Does the quoted price include my airfare?
A: The China Tour Package quotation listed on our website only includes fares for internal flights connecting either part of the tour. International Flights entry into China and the one homeward are not included. We also offer the train ticket booking if required; please make this clear to us at the time of your initial enquiry.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?

1.Information
1-1. What can we see along the Yangtze River?
Along the Yangtze River, you will pass many ancient cities in southern China, enjoy the natural spectacles of Three Gorges, Three Gorges Dam, Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream, and take shore excursions to many famous scenic spots. Please note that the scenic spots and the whole journey may be adjusted due to the weather or the conditions of water by cruise side without prior notice.
1-2. How long will the Yangtze River Cruises last?
The period of the Yangtze River Cruises varies from 3 nights 4 days to 8 nights 9 days, according to the different sailing routes. Among them, the most popular downstream cruises are from from Chongqing to Yichang (3 nights 4 days) or Chongqing to Jingzhou (4 nights and 5 days) and the most popular upstream cruise is from Yichang to Chongqing (4 nights 5 days) or from Jiangzhou to Chongqing ( 5 nights 6 days). Some cruise company will extend the itinerary from Chongqing down to Shanghai, which is 7-day cruise in total.
1-3. What is the best time to have a Yangtze River Cruise?
The high season refers to April, May, September and October in which the weather is at its most temperate and most suitable to take the cruise and the prices are the highest. The winter season refers to December, January and February in which only few ships have sailings and the prices are the lowest. The rest of the months belong to shoulder seasons.

2-1. How to reserve a ship?
First of all, you choose your preferred route for the Yangtze Cruise, like Chongqing to/from Yichang, Chongqing to/from Jingzhou, Chongqing to/from Shanghai and so on.
And then you fill in your personal information, your travel dates and other requirements, Submit.

2-2. What do your prices of the cruise include and exclude?
The prices of the cruise on our website include the expenses of shipboard accommodations in standard cabins, meals, shore excursions, most entertainment aboard the vessel, service charge and government taxes.
The cruise prices do not include expenses of Transfers between Airport and Dock and a purely personal nature such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone call, optional activities, tips to cruise staff and guides.
2-3. How shall I pay for my reservations? (Payment method)

2-4. What is the cancellation policy?
Please note that the payment for the Yangtze River Cruise will not be refunded if the cancellation notice is received less than 30 days prior to the starting date of cruise.
And if your cancellation is confirmed, your refund, minus the payment transaction fee, will be credited to your account within the next two weeks as of the date we receive your written cancellation request.
At all events, your cancellation fee will be less than or equal to your full payment if cancellation made within 30 days prior to departure date of cruise. No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the full payment. After the trip has begun, there will be no refund for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on cruises.
3.Preparation
3-1. What's the weather like in the Yangtze River in general?
The gorgy topography features strong wind, humid and less sunshine. The average temperature reaches 30 C in July and 10 C in January. Spring and autumn are therefore the best seasons for making the river cruise. In summer, dramatic thunderstorms and torrential rains often happen and heavy rainfalls cause the high water level between July and September (Which is usually coincided with the Flood Season on the cruising itineraries). The winters are short and cold.
3-2. What clothes shall I bring when making a Yangtze River cruise?
No special formal dresses are required on the ship. Wear what you like, but when you have a shore excursion or enjoy scenery on the top ship deck, be sure to take proper clothes to protect you from the hot sun in summer and strong wind in winter. As there are two formal nights on the ship we suggest men to bring a coat & tie and the ladies a dress or pantsuit.
4.Embarkation, Disembarkation, Transfers and Guiding
4-1. Will the private tour guide accompany with us while on board?
No. We purchase cruise tickets for you, but all activities onboard are arranged by the cruise company. Your private tour guide will not accompany with you during the cruise. And there is a river guide for shore excursions that can offer excellent service for you.
4-2. Where shall I dine in before boarding?
Generally speaking, dinners are not served on the boarding day if the embarking hours are in the evening. If you are boarding the cruise ship in the evening at Chongqing, you don't have to go here and there looking for restaurants. You may dine at a restaurant named “Hua Qing Yuan” (in Chinese 华清源) for local cuisine and Chinese dishes, right across the road of the boarding site of the ship. Or you can enjoy a western dinner in the next-door coffee shop.
4-3. When shall I check out on the disembarking day?
Generally speaking, you should settle you accounts and check out at the front desk before breakfast. You may use cash in various currencies, including RMB, traveler's checks, American Express, Master Card and Visa. Please note that personal checks are not accepted.
5.On board
5-1. Is the water onboard the ship safe to drink?
Not all the water onboard is safe to drink. Drinkable water includes bottled water and all water and ice in the club and dining room. Please DO NOT drink the tap water.
5-2. Can I bring beverage onboard?
You may bring some if you like. Please note there is a corkage fee for beverages not purchased onboard and consumed in the public areas.
5-3. Is smoking permitted onboard?
Smoking allowed ONLY on outer decks. Please ask your cabin attendant for an ashtray.
5-4. Is medical service available onboard?
Yes, professional medical service is available on board. Every ship has a doctor on call.
5-5. How can I log on the internet on board?
In some ships, you can purchase a card that will allow you to log on the internet for your entire trip. Some ships have internet lounges where you can get online. Please consult our trip advisor to check the detail.
5-6. Are there laundry services on broad?
Yes, laundry service is generally available including washing and ironing but no dry cleaning on board.
5-7. Is there a safe in the standard cabin onboard?
Generally speaking, there is the mini-safe in the standard cabins on most of the ships. If the safe is not available, please consult inquiry office on the ship.
6.Shore Excursion
6-1. What preparation should I do for the shore excursion – the Lesser Three Gorges?
When you are having the shore excursion to the Lesser Three Gorges, you board a ferry to sail along the tributary of the Yangtze. And you are suggested to bring: camera, film, hat, binoculars, bottled water. The ferry has simple restroom facilities.
6-2. What preparation should I do for the shore excursion – the Fengdu Ghost City?
1. Fengdu is a city built on the top of a hill and there are approximately 180 steps to climb before you get there. Please note that there is a cable car chair lift for 20 RMB roundtrip / 15 RMB one direction to get to the top of the hill. You also can take the stairs up / down.
2. When you go ashore to the Fengdu, you are suggested to wear good walking shoes, and in summer time, bring sunglasses and mosquito repellent to make your trip more enjoyable.
6-3. Do I have to take part in the shore excursion?
On a cruise, it is after you whether you'll have the shore excursion. You may do what you want. You can do it all or just relax on the deck.
